Lina receives new paint job
Lina by Tony Jones, the City's symbolic steel sculpture which stands 10-metres tall at the Administration Building, has been repainted
The City is fortunate to have over 50 permanent public artworks in our collection, carefully curated to include sculptures, murals, integrated, play-friendly and functional artworks.
Public artworks are a great asset to our community as they form an integral part of each place and enhance our thriving neighbourhoods. To ensure they can be enjoyed for years to come, each artwork undergoes regular maintenance to extend its longevity.
Lina by Tony Jones, the City's symbolic steel sculpture which stands 10-metres tall at the Administration Building, has had rust removed and been repainted. Lina's new colour 'Deep Bronze Green' was chosen from the Artist's original colour palate, drawing from the earth-tones of our natural environment, and celebrating our vision to be a sustainable City with a local focus.
