Facto Financial Beach Tennis Open brings world tour to Scarborough

Beach tennis action hits Scarborough.

Some of the world’s best beach tennis players are set to descend on Scarborough Beach from 6 to 9 November for the Facto Financial Beach Tennis Open sponsored by the City of Stirling.

Hosted at the Scarborough Beach Amphitheatre by Beach Tennis West, this action-packed event is part of the International Tennis Federation World Tour.

Featuring the BT10 and BT100 categories, the event will attract professional and emerging players from across Australia and around the world to compete for the 110 world ranking points up for grabs – including former world number one Luca Cramarossa.

A field of about 150 participants are expected to compete for a total prize pool of $15,000 across the various divisions: Pro, Advanced, Intermediate and Beginner.

Visitors are invited to head to Scarborough Amphitheatre from 7.00am to 8.00pm each day to check out the action, enjoy the atmosphere, food trucks, live music and try their hand at beach tennis on one of the 12 courts available.
