Doubleview Ward Councillors Elizabeth Re and Stephanie Proud JP visited the new mural at Warren Lake Hall in Woodlands last month.

Conceptualised by the Woodlands Teeball Club, Can I Kick It by Perth artist Lawry Halden takes inspiration from the science of sport, translating the motion of a softball in flight into a bold, dynamic design.

Delivered with the support of the City’s Community Grants Program, the mural celebrates local sport, creativity and community storytelling.

Elsewhere in Doubleview Ward, the City hosted a cubby building activity at Millett Park in Innaloo as part of WA Tree Festival and replaced playgrounds at Penelope Stubberfield Reserve and Yuluma Park in Innaloo as part of the City’s Playground Renewals Program.
