Diary of a Local – Express your interest

We’re seeking keen locals to share monthly insights into what it means to live locally.
Spanning 30 suburbs – from Scarborough in the west to Inglewood in the east, and from Hamersley in the north to Herdsman in the south – Diary of a Local is a storytelling series written by locals, for locals.
Whether you want to share tales from the past, spotlight your favourite local café, highlight your local legend in your suburb or focus on the small everyday moments that shaped your month, we are excited for every story to highlight what makes your local area unique.
Expressions of interest are now open!
Each month, your diary entry will be featured on your Local Suburb Page and shared to your community Facebook group – helping other locals discover new places, connect with neighbours and celebrate the unique character of every suburb.
Whether you're new to the area, a long‑time local, a keen writer or an active community member, we’d love for you to share what living locally means to you. Let’s celebrate the people, places and everyday moments that make living locally something special!
Closing Friday 27 February.
