Community feedback on the ECU Mount Lawley redevelopment

DevelopmentWA has released the draft Master Plan for the ECU Mount Lawley redevelopment and is currently seeking community feedback.
DevelopmentWA has released the draft Master Plan for the ECU Mount Lawley redevelopment and is currently seeking community feedback until 3 August 2025.
With ECU relocating in early 2026, this presents a rare opportunity to draw on the sites cultural, creative, and educational heritage, and incorporate the unique characteristics of the neighbourhood to create an exciting place to live, learn, and connect.
The draft Master Plan has been shaped by extensive community engagement, including input from a Community Reference Group. It responds to community aspirations to honour the site's history, encourage diverse uses, and enhance its role within the local area. Key priorities include preserving existing trees, respecting local identity, fostering community connections, and promoting thoughtful, high-quality design.
DevelopmentWA has also produced a video that showcases the vision and development of the Master Plan.
The City encourages community members to share their thoughts on the redevelopment.
Feedback can be submitted online, or in-person at one of DevelopmentWA's upcoming community drop-in information sessions:
10.00am – 12.30pm, Saturday 19 July at the Inglewood Bowling Club
5.00pm – 7.30pm, Monday 28 July at the North Perth Town Hall.
Registration is not required for these sessions.
