2026 Heritage Awards nominations open

The City of Stirling’s 2026 Heritage Awards are now open for applications in three categories.

The biennial awards were established to recognise the efforts made by individuals and groups in the pursuit of conserving the City’s heritage.

The award categories for 2026 include:

• Conservation and restoration

• Excellence in design and construction

• The Barrie Baker Special Recognition Award*.

Winners of the Heritage Awards will win prizes valued at up to $400.

Applications close at 5.00pm on Friday 12 December 2025.

* The Barrie Baker Special Recognition Award is named after the late heritage champion and long-time patron of the Mount Lawley Society who made a significant contribution to preserving the history and heritage of his local area.
