Councillor Paparde is a lifelong resident of the City of Stirling and an education professional supporting local school communities. As a former ministerial policy adviser, he can manage complex planning and transport issues, ensuring fast and fair outcomes for residents. He strives to ensure the City is financially sustainable while minimising the rate impacts on Stirling residents. He supports the improvement of community services for seniors as well as the creation of better public amenities and walkability at Scarborough Beach for the entire Stirling community. He also supports local park improvements in North Beach, Scarborough, Trigg, Watermans Bay and Karrinyup areas.

Councillor Paparde knows that local sporting and social clubs are the lifeblood of the community. He was previously nominated Stirling Citizen of the Year in recognition of his tireless efforts. As President of the Stirling Progress Association, he has resolved countless issues for residents and small businesses.
