Get ready to experience the magic of the festive season at Stirling Christmas Lights, lighting up the City of Stirling Administration Centre forecourt every evening from Sunday 30 November to Sunday 28 December 2025. This year’s display invites families, friends, and neighbours to gather under the stars and celebrate the joy of Christmas in a truly unforgettable way.

Christmas Lights 2025

  • Sunday 30 November – Sunday 28 December 2025
  • City of Stirling Administration Centre Forecourt, 25 Cedric Street, Stirling
  • Lights on from 7.00pm – 10.00pm.

Each night from sunset, the forecourt transforms into a glowing wonderland of festive lights and interactive displays. 

It all begins with launch night celebrations on Sunday 30 November. Bring the family along to enjoy festive entertainment, turning on of the lights countdown and food trucks. 

Stirling Christmas Lights is free to attend and open to all. Whether you're a long-time local or visiting for the holidays, we invite you to make this event part of your seasonal traditions. 

So bring your loved ones and join us for a month of sparkle, creativity, and community spirit.

Christmas holiday services

As Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day fall during the week, your bin may be collected later than usual. 

  • For Christmas week, collections scheduled for Thursday 25 December will be collected on Friday 26 December. Collections scheduled for Friday 26 December will be collected Saturday 27 December
  • For New Year's week, collections scheduled for Thursday 1 January 2026 will be collected on Friday 2 January 2026. Collections scheduled for Friday 2 January will be collected Saturday 3 January
  • Bulk green waste collections will cease on Monday 22 December 2025 and resume on Monday 5 January 2025. Residents in Area 11: Watermans Bay, North Beach and Trigg, can place their green waste on the verge between 29 December and 5 January 2026.

The Recycling Centre Balcatta (238 Balcatta Road, Balcatta) is open the following hours:

  • 7.30am – 4.00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
  • 8.00am – 4.00pm Sunday.

The Recycling Centre Balcatta will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
