
Get ready to experience the magic of the festive season at Stirling Christmas Lights, lighting up the City of Stirling Administration Centre forecourt every evening from Sunday 30 November to Sunday 28 December 2025. This year’s display invites families, friends, and neighbours to gather under the stars and celebrate the joy of Christmas in a truly unforgettable way.

Christmas Lights 2025
- Sunday 30 November – Sunday 28 December 2025
- City of Stirling Administration Centre Forecourt, 25 Cedric Street, Stirling
- Lights on from 7.00pm – 10.00pm.
Each night from sunset, the forecourt transforms into a glowing wonderland of festive lights and interactive displays.
It all begins with launch night celebrations on Sunday 30 November. Bring the family along to enjoy festive entertainment, turning on of the lights countdown and food trucks.
Stirling Christmas Lights is free to attend and open to all. Whether you're a long-time local or visiting for the holidays, we invite you to make this event part of your seasonal traditions.
So bring your loved ones and join us for a month of sparkle, creativity, and community spirit.
Christmas holiday services
Due to Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day falling on weekdays, bin collections will run later than usual.
Christmas week
- Collections scheduled for Thursday 25 December will be collected on Friday 26 December
- Collections scheduled for Friday 26 December will be collected Saturday 27 December.
New Year's week
- Collections scheduled for Thursday 1 January 2026 will be collected on Friday 2 January 2026
- Collections scheduled for Friday 2 January will be collected Saturday 3 January.
The Recycling Centre Balcatta, located at 238 Balcatta Road, Balcatta, is open during the following hours:
- Monday to Saturday: 7.30am – 4.00pm
- Sunday: 8.00am – 4.00pm.
Please note:
- Christmas Eve: The centre will be closing early at 12.00pm on Wednesday 24 December 2025
- It will also be closed on Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Good Friday.

Donate to the Christmas appeal
Lend a helping hand this Christmas and support those in need. You can do this by donating to the Stirling Women's Centre and the Safe at Home Program annual Christmas appeal. Donations can be dropped off at the following locations until Friday 12 December.
- Stirling Leisure – Inglewood, Balga, Scarborough Beach, Hamersley and Mirrabooka and Scarborough
- Stirling Libraries – Dianella, Inglewood, Karrinyup, Mirrabooka, Osborne and Scarborough
- City of Stirling Administration Centre
- City of Stirling Operations Centre.
Donation baskets will also be available at the Christmas Lights Launch on Sunday 30 November.
