STRUT Dance
Gather under the trees at Bina Parkland and be swept up in Mudh (Home), a powerful outdoor performance bringing together an ensemble of women from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Created by Torres Strait Islander choreographer Sonya Stephen, Mudh explores ideas of nurture, belonging and home through movement, music and connection.
Watch as the performers move across the park landscape to an evocative soundscape, surrounded by Balga trees. It’s a performance that feels at home in the natural scenery inviting you to experience the park in a completely different way.
Come early to enjoy family-friendly activities, including a free sausage sizzle provided by the City of Stirling and food trucks for your evening meal. Then settle in under the trees and share the experience with your family, friends and community.
More than a performance, Mudh is a gathering. A place to come together, connect and celebrate what home can mean to all of us.
