Perth Folk and Roots Club with Turning Left and Midnight Francine

Perth Folk and Roots Club is back at the Inglewood Bowling and Sports Club on 23 August 2026 supported by the Inglewood Bowling and Sports Club. Perth Folk and Roots Club is also working with Act Belong Commit in recognition of music’s contribution to mental wellbeing. The performances are from 5.00pm to 8.00pm at the Inglewood Bowling and Sports Club, 1 Stancliffe Street, Mount Lawley. For this event, Perth Folk and Roots Club has Turning Left and Midnight Francine.

Turning Left is a blues outfit of established Perth musicians who happen to be left handed. The duet features Gordon German on guitar and vocals, (ex Harrison, Company B, Coldfront, Fearless Men With Facial Hair and Woodstock Experience) and Steve Prescott on bass (ex Firebird and also Slim Jim and the Phatts).

Midnight Francine is a singer songwriter and guitarist who previously won best Female Artist at the Lancelin Buskers Festival and has a new single out called Lavender Lover available through Bandcamp.
