Did you know a baby will go through between 4,000 and 6,000 nappies before they are toilet trained?

Disposable nappies cost around $3,000 for just one child while modern cloth nappies are significantly cheaper and can be used for multiple children. Gone are the days of pins, soaking or bleaching. Modern cloth nappies are fitted, easy to wash and come in cute designs. Using them will save you money and help the planet.

From 1 July 2024, the City of Stirling is offering a 50% rebate (up to a max $100) to residents who purchase or hire modern cloth nappies after attending a Modern Cloth Nappy workshop, or pop-up session (terms and conditions apply, please visit our website for more information).

This pop-up session is presented by Kam from The Nappy Guru, on behalf of the City of Stirling. This is a great opportunity to:

  • Find out what you need to get started,
  • Touch and feel various styles and brands of cloth nappies
  • Practice fitting nappies on demo dolls
  • Learn how to effectively wash nappies and deal with poo
  • Talk to like-minded parents
  • Get support and tips if you are already using cloth nappies.

So, whether you’re looking to switch completely away from disposables or just supplement with reusables while at home, come along and get all the info you need.
