Pool facilities

Stirling Leisure Centres - Scarborough Beach Pool is an iconic landmark situated in the heart of Scarborough.

The main lap pool is geothermally heated year round to 27°C
It consists of eight 50m lanes and four 25m lanes
Multiple configuration options are available to cater for a wide variety of pool-goers, with depths ranging from 1.2m to 2.2.m
The facility also has a separate leisure pool, for more leisurely swims and swimming lessons
With a 200 seat grandstand and spacious open air seating areas, the pool is without a doubt the place to be
On hot summer days you can relax on the sun lounges (with optional shaded areas) and cool winter days you can still enjoy a dip thanks to the year-round geothermal heating.

A new 14-lane pool, now the largest outdoor public lap pool in the Southern Hemisphere, which can accommodate up to approximately 250 swimmers

The venue has suitable facilities for all patrons with three swimming pools and an interactive water playground.

Indoor leisure pool, beach entry free-form pool with lazy river heated to 31°C
Indoor program pool with ramp entry, designed for rehabilitation, hydrotherapy and beginners swimming lessons heated to 33°C

At Stirling Leisure, children under 5 years old:

Must be accompanied into the centre by a responsible adult over 16 years old
Must wear a watch around water wristband to help staff identify their age while swimming
Must be accompanied in the water by a full fee paying adult.
