Perth Glory kicks off new era in Mirrabooka

• Perth Glory officially relocated to new home in Mirrabooka
• Move backed by $1.2 million Cook Government investment to strengthen sporting facilities for the club and community

Perth Glory has officially relocated its training facilities and administrative headquarters to Stirling Leisure - Mirrabooka, a move which is set to deliver a range of economic and social benefits for the local community.

In partnership with the City of Stirling, the WA Government's $1.2 million investment has delivered upgrades to the playing turf and existing changerooms, along with the­ installation of new perimeter fencing at the Mirrabooka Regional Open Space.

The community will continue to be able to use the public open space and community pitch alongside Perth Glory's men's and women's players.

To ensure local clubs continue to have access to quality facilities a further $200,000 was committed toward floodlighting upgrades at Fragrant Gardens Reserve, with fencing and field preparation works also delivered at Dryandra Reserve.

Perth Glory's new home is helping to strengthen WA's football community from the ground up, with the improved infrastructure supporting talent development and encouraging greater community participation in sport.

The redevelopment marks another project completed under PlayOn WA - the WA Government's bold new initiative to guide investment in community sport and recreation infrastructure across the State through to 2030.

As WA's only professional football club, Perth Glory has helped grow the game across the State, inspiring thousands of young players and representing WA on the national stage since its establishment in 1996.

The move to Mirrabooka has secured Glory's long-term future in Western Australia - ensuring the club remains a central part of the State's football community and continues to be deeply embedded in local sport and culture.
