The Youth Week – Community Engagement event, celebrating the Youth Week theme “Strength Our Stories”, is designed to bring together young people aged 14–24 to connect with their community, discover their personal strengths, and access the support services that will help them reach their full potential.

Hosted at Stirling Leisure – Mirrabooka, the event will engage approximately 100 local youth, including those facing barriers to employment, education, or training.

Delivered by Status Employment Services with the support of the City of Stirling, the event provides young people with the opportunity to be guided by experienced Status team members who will assist them in registering with Status Employment services, accessing training and employment pathways, and connecting with other community services.

Through interactive, fun, and inclusive activities including team-building games, arts and crafts, cultural displays, zorbing, bingo, music, and prizes, participants will develop confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, while celebrating diversity and inclusion.

This event ensures that Youth Week is not only a celebration but a pathway to opportunity, with participants leaving actively connected to Status services, supported by mentors and Consultants, empowering them to take the next steps in their education, employment, and personal development journey.
