Type 1 Tech Night

Whether you’re newly diagnosed, exploring new options, or supporting someone who is, this event is designed to help you make sense of what’s available and find what’s right for you.

We’re bringing together leading diabetes technology companies, diabetes educators, and community members living with type 1 diabetes all under one roof for one evening.

The evening kicks off with a one-hour presentation from our credentialled diabetes educators. You’ll get an easy-to-understand overview of the current technology landscape, learn how each option works, understand the key differences between them, and hear helpful questions to ask when working out which device might suit your needs.

After the presentation, you’ll have the chance to explore expo-style stands, speak directly with company representatives, and connect with other people in the WA type 1 diabetes community. Light refreshments will be provided.

This event is open to anyone living with type 1 diabetes, as well as their families, carers and diabetes educators. Whether you’re considering your first pump or sensor, thinking about upgrading, or just want to see what’s new, you’re welcome to attend.
