Perth Folk and Roots Club with Matt Cal and Friends and Damien Binder

Perth Folk and Roots Club is back at the Inglewood Bowling and Sports Club on Sunday 26 July 2026 supported by the City of Stirling through its Community Grants Program and the Inglewood Bowling and Sports Club.

Perth Folk and Roots Club is also working with Act Belong Commit in recognition of music’s contribution to mental wellbeing. The performances are from 5.00pm to 8.00pm at the Inglewood Bowling and Sports Club, 1 Stancliffe Street, Mount Lawley. For this event, Perth Folk and Roots Club has Matt Cal and Friends and Damien Binder.

Matt Cal is a hard-working Western Australian folk and roots singer and guitarist who has already achieved multiple nominations for Western Australian Song Of the Year and a win in the Blues and Roots category in 2011 with his track Overdrive.

Damien Binder is a singer-songwriter who has been writing and recording for more than 20 years and is an APRA Silver Scroll Award nominated artist and has performed internationally supporting some of the world’s leading acts including David Gray, Marianne Faithfull and Ani Di Franco.
