In support of Plastic Free July, join us for a fun, hands-on workshop designed to inspire kids to learn about waste reduction and sustainability!
This interactive one-hour session introduces young participants to the concept of single-use materials. what they are and why reducing them is important for our environment. Kids will also learn practical ways to reduce waste by exploring nude lunchboxes (lunches without disposable packaging).
What to expect
- Learn and discover: Understand what single-use items are and how we can reduce them in our daily lives
- Nude lunchboxes: Learn how to pack lunches without disposable packaging
- Crafting fun: Make your own reusable beeswax wrap, a sustainable alternative to plastic wrap (and you get to take it home!)
- Interactive learning: Fun facts, discussion, and engaging activities throughout.
