We invite you to join the Mirrabooka NAIDOC Committee in celebrating 50 years of Deadly. The Mirrabooka NAIDOC Event is a vibrant and inclusive event that gives our local community the chance to connect through ceremony, entertainment, cultural activities and more. This family friendly event proudly celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture whilst also promoting healthy lifestyles and access to a variety of local services. There are free activities for all ages, including native animals + rides + photobooth + live music + dancing and a free sausage sizzle. About NAIDOC Week
National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in July each year to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It is an opportunity for all Australians to experience culture and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth. This year's NAIDOC theme is 50 Years of Deadly.
