Creative makers, big imaginations and weekly wonders – Welcome to the Makes & Me program
Forget the perfect final product. We’re all about the process of creation! Makes & Me is a weekly gathering where you and your child can engage in pure, unfiltered artistic exploration.
Hosted by The Locals at the Stirling Women’s Shed, this is a dedicated, judgement-free space for our little ones and their carers. Come draw, paint, sculpt, and discover new textures together—without pressure or performance.
A new adventure every week – We keep the activities a secret, so every session is a delightful surprise!
We might be:
- Discovering the vibrant colours in nature by painting with pigments derived from plants
- Creating beautiful, organic designs by dyeing fabric with real flowers
- Letting loose with dynamic “painting with motion” techniques
- Learning the fundamentals of light by building a classic camera from scratch
- Rediscover the joy of play and give your child the space to simply be a maker & creator.
