Boodja Wakaniny in Nyoongar means 'Talking on Country'. Nyoongar people have lived in the south-west of Western Australia for more than 60,000 years, and Aboriginal people are the oldest continuing culture in the world.

Join Nyoongar-Yamatji man and Cultural Literacy Consultant Preston Culbong at Mount Flora Regional Museum for Boodja Wakaniny: knowledge sharing, language and stories, about the creation of the waterways, caring for Boodja (Country), Kep Kaartdijin (water knowledge), caring for water resources, and more.

The City of Stirling's Waterwise Communities Officer will also be offering a pop-up activity with an interactive board game and prizes. Bookings are essential as places are limited. Tea and coffee will be provided.
