Michael is a finance professional in a local family business, who has lived in the City of Stirling for over 20 years. He is a recipient of the University of WA Excellence Award, an academic scholarship awarded to prospective UWA students, and the University of WA Blues Award for his performances in Futsal at the Australian University Games. For many years he has volunteered his time as a Mathematics tutor for first-generation Australians, as well as at Balga Senior High School as part of the Swan Noongar Sports Education Program.

Michael is very active within the community and plays soccer with the Mirrabooka Jaguars, as well as futsal with Balga FC – a club which he co-founded. He is passionate about helping our local clubs and sporting clubs grow, as he believes this is the most effective tool we have to help disengaged youth integrate into our community.

During his time on Council, Michael will be a strong advocate for making our community a safer and cleaner place to raise a family and strive to ensure continued and increased support for our seniors.
