Competition terms and conditions

This page provides the full terms and conditions of entry for City run competitions. 

Commemorative Year Celebration Competition

  1. Entry is made by correctly answering the question on the City's Facebook post by 11.59pm AWST Thursday 24 June 2021
  2. One entry per question, per person
  3. The winner will be chosen by a random draw and will be announced on the post
  4. If the winner is unable to accept or claim the prize, a new winner will be drawn
  5. There is 1 x gift voucher to the value of $75 for a local business to be won
  6. Voucher terms and conditions will be determined by the local business
  7. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

Containers for Change Survey Competition

  • All survey responses must be received by 5.00pm Western Standard Time on Friday 9 April 2021
  • The winner will be randomly selected and will be contacted via the email address provided
  • There is 1x $50 voucher for schools, and 1 x $50 voucher for businesses who are signed up to the City’s Containers for Change program
  • Winners must be willing to collect the prize from the City of Stirling Administration Centre, 25 Cedric Street, Stirling or Operations Centre, 16 Natalie Way Balcatta
  • In the event that a winner is unable to be contacted or to accept their prize, a new winner will be drawn
  • One entry, per person
  • City of Stirling employees are ineligible to enter.

Online Usage Survey Competition

  • All survey responses must be received by 5.00pm Western Standard Time on Friday 21 May 2021
  • The winner will be randomly selected and will be contacted via the email address provided
  • There is 1x $50 voucher to be won
  • Winners must be willing to collect the prize from the City of Stirling Administration Centre, 25 Cedric Street, Stirling
  • In the event that a winner is unable to be contacted or to accept their prize, a new winner will be drawn
  • One entry, per person
  • City of Stirling employees are ineligible to enter.

Sustainability Competition

  1. Entry is open to City of Stirling residents aged 18 years and over only
  2. Entry is made by commenting on the City of Stirling Facebook post by 11.59pm Thursday 1 July
  3. One entry per person - parents/carers can enter once per child
  4. There are 3 x vouchers to certified organic shop Dunn and Walton to be won
  5. The winner will be chosen by the City’s Parks and Sustainability Team
  6. Winners must collect their prize from the City’s Administration Building, 25 Cedric Street, Stirling
  7. Winning entries may be shared on the City’s social media
  8. If a winner is unable to accept or claim the prize, a new winner will be drawn
  9. The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

Adopt-A-Park Annual Survey Competition

  • All survey responses must be received by 5.00pm Western Standard Time on Wednesday 30 June, 2021
  • The winner will be randomly selected and will be contacted via the email address provided
  • There is 3 x Craftright pick-up and reaching tool prizes
  • Winners must be willing to collect the prize from the City of Stirling Administration Centre, 25 Cedric Street, Stirling.
  • In the event that a winner is unable to be contacted or to accept their prize, a new winner will be drawn
  • One entry, per person
  • City of Stirling employees are ineligible to enter.

  1. The ‘Scarborough Winter Staycation’ promotion contains links to third party websites, goods or services that are not owned or controlled by the City of Stirling. It is the responsibility of the end-user to make their own decisions about the accuracy, reliability and correctness of information found on third party websites.
  2. The City of Stirling makes no claim, representation or warranties with respect to the quality or purpose of any third party web sites, goods or services.
  3. The City of Stirling does not endorse the goods and services offered by the third party service providers.
  4. The City of Stirling has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services.
  5. By accepting a promotion, you acknowledge and agree that the City of Stirling is not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused by, or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such website or services.
  6. The City of Stirling reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these terms at any time, without notice.
  7. All entries to the Winter Staycation competition must be received by 5.00pm Western Standard Time on Friday 31 July, 2021
  8. The winners will be randomly selected and will be contacted via the email address provided
  9. There is 6 x hotel stay prizes in total chosen by the City of Stirling
  10.  Winners must be willing to collect the prize from the City of Stirling Administration Centre, 25 Cedric Street, Stirling.
  11.  In the event that a winner is unable to be contacted or to accept their prize, a new winner will be drawn
  12.  One entry, per person
  13.  City of Stirling employees are ineligible to enter.

Build a Beau-fort Competition

  • All survey responses must be received by 5.00pm Western Standard Time on Monday 5 July 2021
  • The winner will be randomly selected and will be contacted via the email address provided
  • There is 3x $200 vouchers to be won
  • Winners must be willing to collect the prize from the City of Stirling Administration Centre, 25 Cedric Street, Stirling
  • In the event that a winner is unable to be contacted or to accept their prize, a new winner will be drawn
