Competition terms and conditions

This page provides the full terms and conditions of entry for City run competitions. 

Tree Tales

  1. Competition is open to City of Stirling residents only
  2. All entries must be received via a post on the entrants Instagram, tagging the City @citystirlingwa and using the hashtag #mytreetale by 11.59pm Western Standard Time on Wednesday 30 September 2020
  3. Entrants profiles must be set to 'public' for the duration of the competition
  4. Only children under the age of 16 are eligble to win prizes
  5. One entry per entrant, parents/carers can enter once per child
  6. The winners will be selected by our Parks and Sustainability Team and will be contacted via Instagram on Thursday 1 October 2020
  7. There are 3 x passes (for 10 people) to the Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation to be won
  8. Winners must collect their prize from the City of Stirling Administration Building, 25 Cedric Street, Stirling
  9. In the event that a winner is unable to accept their prize, a new winner will be drawn
  10.  The prize is non-transferable and is not able to be redeemed for cash
  11.  Winning entries will be shared on social media #StirlingTreeTrail.

Scarborough Winter Staycation

  1. The ‘Scarborough Winter Staycation’ promotion contains links to third party websites, goods or services that are not owned or controlled by the City of Stirling. It is the responsibility of the end-user to make their own decisions about the accuracy, reliability and correctness of information found on third party websites.
  2. The City of Stirling makes no claim, representation or warranties with respect to the quality or purpose of any third party web sites, goods or services.
  3. The City of Stirling does not endorse the goods and services offered by the third party service providers.
  4. The City of Stirling has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services.
  5. By accepting a promotion, you acknowledge and agree that the City of Stirling is not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused by, or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such website or services.
  6. The City of Stirling reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these terms at any time, without notice.

Customer Engagement Survey

  1. Competition is open to City of Stirling residents only
  2. All entries must be received via a 100% completed survey monkey survey by 11.59pm Western Standard Time on Friday 18 September 2020
  3. The winners will be randomly selected and will be contacted via email
  4. There are two $50 Coles Myer gift vouchers to be won
  5. The prize winners must provide a full name and email address on the survey so that the winner can be contacted to have the vouchers posted to them or collect their prize from the City of Stirling’s Administration Centre
  6. In the event that a winner is unable to accept their prize, a new winner will be drawn
  7. The prize is non-transferable and is not able to be redeemed for cash
