From the zen of a yoga class to regular run clubs, boutique gyms, and the best spots for muscle recovery – the City of Stirling has got you covered.

Mindful Movement

Discover the perfect place to find your inner zen and strengthen your core. On the Coast you’ll find The Pilates Co North Beach offering boutique reformer pilates classes designed to challenge and tone your body. For an outdoor experience, try an open-air session under the tree canopy at Tuart Estate, Hamersley Golf Course (check dates for sessions). Scarborough is a hub for all things pilates and yoga, with The Pilates LabThe Yoga Garage and The Hundred Pilates Studio providing friendly spaces with a variety of classes from active reformer and Bikram to mindful meditation - some even boasting ocean views! Sol Haven opens mid-2025 in Osborne Park and promises ‘wellness reimagined’, with multiple pilates studios, saunas and ice baths, a vitamin infusion space, as well as access to a variety of allied health professionals for all your bodily needs.

Run Club

Regular runners, Strava enthusiasts and walkers wanting to become runners are all welcome at Stirling’s Run Clubs. With most catering to all fitness levels, meet up with like-minded runners across the City. Check out the Perth Run Collective for a community of members who regularly explore the city on foot, or The Early Ones for serene morning runs.

Recover and rejuvenate

Recovery is just as important as the workout itself! Ember Bathhouse in Osborne Park is a tranquil haven offering therapeutic treatments and baths. Clear Mind Studio in Inglewood specialises in float therapy and other recovery treatments. Mana Recovery Studio in Stirling offers a holistic approach to recovery with variety of therapies and treatments to get you resting on cloud nine. The Melt Haus in Scarborough provides sauna and steam room facilities to help you unwind, while Sweat and Chill in North Beach features infrared saunas and other recovery services to help you relax and rejuvenate. Alchemy Saunas is Scarborough’s newest sauna and ice shower experience for you to breathe deep, heat up, cool down and repeat.

For a more personalised workout experience, explore these boutique gyms in Stirling. Aspire Group in Osborne Park refers to itself as a functional training facility and wellness hub, known for its personalised training programs and supportive environment (they even have a café onsite for post-workout pick-me-ups). New Movement, also in Osborne Park, offers innovative workouts and a friendly community atmosphere with plenty of classes to get you moving. If you’re looking for something high-energy, Rumble Boxing guarantees great vibes with their top-notch trainers curating challenging workouts that explore the skills and drills of boxing as well as resistance training – all while having fun.

Discover Karrinyup’s Wellness Precinct, where you'll find Cycle Co. Spin Studio offering reinvigorating spin classes to get your heart pumping. Afterglo Pilates encourages movement with a variety of classes, where Fitstop provides functional fitness sessions designed to unleash your inner potential.

Community movement

Cold Nips is an ice breaking Australia wide community movement with the mission of promoting wellbeing, understanding and positive mental health. As well as full day wellness workshops and their Project Fella’s male-focused initiative, the Cold Nips community meets every Wednesday to vibe as the sunrises, with an icy ocean dip.

The City’s Leisure Centres

The City of Stirling has six leisure centres that are open all year round and offer a range of health, fitness and sporting activities. The centres host fully-equipped gyms, pools, indoor sports courts, group fitness classes, and indoor activity programs open for all ages. From Inglewood’s 50m outdoor pool and state of the art health and fitness centre, to Mirrabooka’s multipurpose sport centre and Scarborough Beach’s heated pool and learn to swim programs, there’s something for everyone.
