Community garden celebrations bear fruit

The City was proud to celebrate National Community Garden Day at some of our incredible community gardens on Sunday 2 November.
We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Campion, Coastal, Inglewood/Mt Lawley and Joondanna community gardens for hosting the Community Open Day on Sunday.
The gardens looked fantastic, with thriving produce and vibrant displays that showcased the passion and care of our local growers.
It was wonderful to see the workshops so well attended and the plant sales, kids’ activities, garden tours and more all well received.
Events like these truly bring our community together and we’re excited to see membership numbers grow as more people discover the joy of community gardening.
Thank you again to all the hardworking committee members for organising and delivering such a beautiful day for the community.
