Competition terms and conditions

This page provides the full terms and conditions of entry for City run competitions.

  • The competition will close on 5.00pm Western Standard Time on Monday 30 June 2025

  • This competition is open to anybody who signs up or uses the Rates portal Monday 1 July 2024 until Monday 30 June 2025

  • The winner will be randomly selected and will be contacted via the email address provided

  • There is one $500 Karrinyup Shopping Centre gift card to be won, one drawn after the competition closes

  • The winner must be willing to collect their prize from the City of Stirling Administration Centre, 25 Cedric Street, Stirling WA 6021

  • In the event a winner is unable to be contacted or to accept their prize, a new winner will be drawn

  • One entry, per person

  • The winner must be a property owner who is signed up to the Rates Portal

  • The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes

  • City of Stirling employees are ineligible to enter.

  • This competition is open to City of Stirling primary school students (with a parent/guardian’s consent).
  • To enter the competition, entrants must:
    • Submit a slogan idea for road safety.
    • Accept these terms and conditions.
  • One entry per person.
  • Competition ends on Saturday 24 May 2025 at 11.59pm. Entries received outside this time will not be considered.
  • One winner will be chosen in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  • The winner will be selected on Monday 26 May 2025, and will have the opportunity to nominate a City of Stirling primary school to receive a free admission (up to 60 students) to the Constable Care Safety School in Maylands.
  • The winner will be notified via telephone or email and must nominate a school within five days. If the winner does not respond or forgoes the opportunity, a second draw will be held on Monday, 2 June 2025.
  • The nominated school will be notified via phone. If the school rejects the prize, the City is entitled to offer the prize to another school.
  • The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

  • Entry into the competition is open to City of Stirling residents only
  • To enter, residents must complete the online form with the name of their street tree (Tree Tale) by Thursday 30 October 2025
  • Residents can earn an extra entry by uploading a photo of their tree with the tree tag attached
  • There is therefore a maximum of two entries per household
  • The prize is a $100 Bunnings gift voucher
  • There are four (4) prizes available
  • Winners will be drawn at random from entries received in the following promotional periods:
    •  Voucher 1 - up to 30 June 2025
    • Voucher 2 - 30 June to 30 July 2025
    • Voucher 3 - 30 July to 30 August 2025
    • Voucher 4 - 30 August to 30 October 2025.
  • Winning entries will be notified by email and / or phone
  • In the event that a winner is unable to accept their prize, a new winner will be drawn
  • Winners must collect their prize from City of Stirling Administration Building, 25 Cedric Street, Stirling
  • Winning entries may be shared on the City’s social media accounts
  • Vouchers are not redeemable or exchangeable for cash.
