TARA Award 2026 - celebrating migrant SME business owners

The Tara Award exists to recognise business owners who started without established networks, without inherited shortcuts, and often without a safety net. And yet they make up a significant share of Australia's most driven and resilient small business community.

The winner receives:

• $5,000 cash grant
• $5,000 in strategic business advisory from Soul House Australia Mentoring and strategy sessions
• A feature story across the Bloom Capital and Soul House Australia networks.

To be eligible, applicants need to:

• Be a first-generation migrant- born outside Australia and living here now
• Be the founder, owner, or director of their business
• Have a registered Australian business with at least 12 months of trading.
