Waste Engagement
Give your wardrobe new life at our Rewear & Repair Clothes Swap - a community event focused on keeping clothing and accessories in use and out of landfill! Bring along quality items you no longer wear and swap them for something “new-to-you”. It’s a simple way to refresh your wardrobe without buying new.
You’ll hear from Hazel of The Curated Wardrobe, who will run a sustainable styling masterclass packed with practical tips to help you get more wear out of what you already own.
Got something that needs a little TLC? Head to the Repair Corner, where Angela from Sew Impressed will guide you through simple mending techniques using sewing machines. Whether it’s a missing button, a tear or a hem, you’ll learn hands-on skills to extend the life of your clothes.
With Australia being one of the world’s highest consumers of textiles, this event is a great opportunity to rethink how we buy, wear, and care for our clothes!
Please note this is a ticketed event, all attendees must register. There will be no entry without a registered ticket.
