Mindful Movement is a gentle, low-impact exercise class led by an experienced instructor trained in supporting individuals with chronic musculoskeletal conditions. The class blends elements of Tai Chi, Yoga, and Qigong, using slow, flowing movements and breathwork to enhance the mind-muscle connection, improve mobility, and reduce stiffness and pain.

Research shows these mind-body exercises can significantly improve flexibility, balance, muscle strength, and physical function, while also helping to relieve joint pain and musculoskeletal discomfort in individuals with arthritis.

The calming nature of the movements supports mental wellbeing, leading to improved mood and overall quality of life. This class is ideal for people living with arthritis, osteoporosis, chronic pain, or recovering from hip/knee surgeries or joint replacements.

Movements are easily modified to suit all ability levels, and the welcoming group environment promotes not only physical benefits but also a sense of connection and community – key factors in staying motivated and supported over time.
