Join us for an engaging evening with Western Australian author Paul Hewer, creator of The Blackwater Chronicles - an epic medieval fantasy series exploring legacy, loyalty and the brutal cost of power.

Paul grew up in country WA and has long been inspired by historical fiction, science fiction and fantasy - influences that led him first to screenwriting and later to developing his richly imagined fantasy novels.

In this author talk, Paul will shares insights into his writing journey, from those early screenplay experiments to the creation of The Blackwater Chronicles, including his recently released novels The Wooden Crown and The Empty Throne.

Following his talk, you’ll have the chance to ask Paul your own questions during an open Q&A session. Whether you’re an aspiring writer, a fantasy fiction fan, or simply curious about the creative process, this is a wonderful opportunity to hear directly from a local author bringing vivid new worlds to life.
