Join Stirling Libraries in celebrating Harmony Week with a captivating Guzheng Discovery and Hands On Session. Journey into the world of the Guzheng, a traditional 21 string Chinese zither.

This workshop begins with an introduction to the instrument’s history and cultural significance. Participants will enjoy a live performance showcasing the Guzheng’s expressive and beautiful sound. The highlight of the session is the hands on experience: each participant will have the opportunity to sit at a Guzheng and with guidance, learn to pluck the strings to play a simple, well known melody.

Bookings are essential.

This workshop is an all‑inclusive session for both adults and children, but you don’t need to have children to join in the fun. We recommend it for children aged 7 years and older. All participants must have their own ticket.
