Enjoy a special morning with the birds of Herdsman Lake guided by experts from BirdLife WA.

This free event from 7.30 to 10.30am on December 5 is part of the International Day of People with Disability and is designed to include everybody, especially anyone with a disability and carers.

The lake is a hotspot for birds and the boardwalk through the wetland is a great way to see them. There will be binoculars and telescopes on hand for viewing birds more closely.

The day will start with birdwatching and a guided walk through the wetland, followed by free morning tea and a short talk.

The Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre is accessed from the corner of Flynn and Selby Streets, Wembley. Bookings are essential.
