Get ready, Perth… Brazil is taking over the beach again!

For the 7th year in a row, Brazilian Beach Carnaval is back in Scarborough, turning the coast into a vibrant slice of Brazil, bringing the energy of the biggest street party on Earth straight to WA.

The celebration kicks off from 1.00pm with a special kids-friendly session, packed with music, face painting, games, activities and plenty of fun for the little ones — the perfect way to start the day with the whole family.

As the afternoon rolls in, the beach comes alive with:

  • Dance performances
  • Live bands
  • The iconic Sambozzy drum parade
  • Dancers in full traditional costumes
  • Non-stop good vibes, colour, joy and community all the way through to the night!

This is one of Perth’s most loved summer events. Free entry, family-friendly and absolutely impossible to miss. Bring your friends, bring the kids, bring the energy. Scarborough is about to become Brazil.
