African Drumming Workshop

Join us for an exciting and interactive African drumming experience as part of Harmony Week. Led by African Drumming and their accomplished percussionist Michael Boase. 

This dynamic 30-minute workshop invites you to explore rhythm, culture and self-expression through traditional African drumming.

Michael is an experienced and highly respected performer who has toured internationally, sharing his passion for music on stages around the world. The session promises to be highly interactive and engaging, encouraging students to participate, collaborate and connect through rhythm.

Using authentic djembes and lively demonstrations, students will learn basic drumming techniques, call-and-response patterns, and the cultural stories behind the music.
