The Innovative and Productive Communities Grants will open on 1 February 2026 to support small businesses and sole traders across the City.

We’re excited to reopen our Innovative and Productive Communities Grant on 1 February 2026, supporting small businesses and sole traders across the City of Stirling to grow, innovate and help shape a vibrant, connected community.

If you’re a Stirling‑based business or sole trader with an ABN and matched funding, you may be eligible to apply. This program is designed to help you deliver projects that strengthen your business and enhance our local neighbourhoods.

What you can apply for

You can seek funding for a wide range of initiatives, including:

  • E‑commerce improvements
  • Shopfront upgrades
  • Signage
  • Greening and landscaping
  • Lighting
  • Accessibility upgrades
  • Murals and public art
  • Other community‑enhancing projects.

Please note that operational costs such as wages, salaries and administrative overheads are not eligible.

Key dates

19 - 31 January 2026

Preview the application form and speak with our Grants Team for early guidance.

From Sunday 1 February 2026

Applications open for:

  • Quick Response Grants up to $2,000 (available year‑round)
  • Small, Medium and Large Grants from $2,001 to over $20,000.

Monday 16 February

Early‑bird deadline for feedback on draft applications (small, medium and large grants).

Saturday 28 February

Final applications close.
