Cancer Council WA is currently seeking young adults aged 18–24 years to join their Clear the Air Youth Advisory Group (YAG).

They're looking for individuals who want to share their lived experience with nicotine use to shape campaigns and projects designed to support young people across WA to break free from vaping and nicotine use.

An essential requirement is that candidates must have current or past experience with regular nicotine use (vapes, pouches, cigarettes).

As part of this paid opportunity, youth advisors will have the opportunity to:

  • Share their perspectives and experiences to help inform quit vaping and nicotine support initiatives
  • Provide feedback on youth-focused campaigns, resources and activities
  • Contribute to the design of a new youth-led peer support project
  • Develop valuable skills in communication, leadership and co-design
  • Help ensure young people's voices are represented in decisions that affect them.

No previous YAG experience is required.

Young people from diverse backgrounds and communities across Western Australia are welcome.
