Councillor Daniela Ion

Councillor Daniela Ion is a long-term resident of Stirling, where she lives with her husband and two children. She holds a Master of Laws in Family Law and Family Dispute Resolution, as well as a Juris Doctor, and runs her own business.

Cr Ion is passionate about helping others and deeply committed to community wellbeing. As a member of Women Lawyers, she focuses on reducing the impact of domestic violence in our community and advocates for meaningful change.

Her priorities include enhancing safety through increased security patrols and improved public lighting, protecting heritage areas, maintaining a balance between development and the environment, upgrading sporting and community clubs, improving services and recreational access for seniors, and ensuring proper outcomes on planning and traffic issues.

Cr Ion believes that with strong community support, we can build a safer and more prosperous future together. In her spare time, she enjoys walking, cooking, reading, and listening to music.
