Joondanna Reserve Upgrade

How will my involvement influence decision making?
This engagement will shape the final design and assist in identifying what the local community would like to see included as park of the landscape upgrades.
What is planned for the Playground?
The playground will be co-designed with children from the local primary schools. The City’s landscape architect will ensure they playground design caters to children with a range of skills and abilities. It will also include shade sails. The final playground design will be illustrated on this webpage in early 2024.
Why is the City proposing new public toilet facilities?
Public toilets amenities are being proposed as part of Joondanna Reserve Upgrades to ensure the reserve can support longer stay and play opportunities. The 2016 Joondanna Reserve upgrade – POS assessment found a high number of requests from community for public toilet across popular reserves such as Joondanna.
