2023 Anzac Day services in the City

There are several Anzac Day services being held within the City of Stirling which are open to the public in 2023, offering residents the opportunity to pay their respects to current and former members of the Australian Defence Forces.

 

North Beach RSL Sub-Branch Anzac Dawn Service

Tuesday 25 April 2023 6.00am – 7.00am (arrive by 5.30am)

Charles Riley Memorial Reserve, Kitchener Street, North Beach

*Please note this event was previously advertised in error as starting at 5.00am.

 

Nollamara RSL Sub-Branch Anzac Dawn Service

Tuesday 25 April 2023 6.00am – 7.00am (arrive by 5.45am)

Nollamara RSL Sub-Branch, 68 Sylvia Street, Nollamara

 

Osborne Park RSL Sub-Branch Anzac Dawn Service

Tuesday 25 April 2023 6.30am – 7.30am

Memorial Hall, 129 Main Street, Osborne Park

 

Mount Lawley/Inglewood Anzac Day Service

Tuesday 25 April 2023 8.00am – 9.00am

Mount Lawley War Memorial - Cnr Queens and Clifton Crescents, Mount Lawley

 

Yokine/Joondanna RSL Sub-Branch Anzac Day Service

Tuesday 25 April 2023 commencing 12.30pm

Yokine Districts Bowling Club, 10 Wordsworth Avenue, Yokine

The City of Stirling will be observing the Anzac Day Public Holiday, with our Administration Centre and Contact Centre closed for the day with the City’s after-hours provider available by phone for urgent queries.

The following facilities will also be closed on Tuesday 25 April:

  • The City’s Operations Centre
  • Containers for Change
  • all six Stirling Libraries (Dianella, Inglewood, Karrinyup, Mirrabooka, Osborne and Scarborough)
  • Herb Graham, Scarborough and Hamersley Recreation Centres
  • Stirling Community Men’s Shed.

Terry Tyzack Aquatic Centre, Leisurepark Balga and Scarborough Beach Pool will open from 12.00pm to 6.00pm, however Terry Tyzack Aquatic Centre and Leisurepark Balga Group Fitness Classes will not be held.

The Recycling Centre Balcatta and Hamersley Public Golf Course will remain open for business as usual, and the City offers RSLWA members discounted golf entry on Anzac Day.
