Have your say on Stirling Community Hubs

30 March 2021

The City of Stirling wants to hear from the community about how we can better plan and provide services in our Stirling Community Hubs.

There are four unique hubs across the City in Inglewood, Osborne Park, Scarborough and Mirrabooka. Each hub has a library and community centre, with a range of additional services, facilities and activity spaces.

A community consultation project has been launched through the City’s Your Say engagement hub, aimed at gathering input from businesses, residents and community groups.

Mayor Mark Irwin said approaching the community directly for feedback was the best way to ensure that the hubs meet the needs and aspirations of the local community.

“We’re asking everyone to have input to help us create a better future for the community and the City. We want to know how people use the spaces and what the community wants to see improved or added."

“When people see the full list of what is available at their local hub, they’re often surprised just how much is on offer. We’re always adding and changing services or planning events, so I encourage everyone to jump online and take a look.”

The engagement process aims to encourage people to use the facilities by improving the spaces and increasing awareness of what is on offer.
