The City expresses its condolences to the family and friends of Peta Christine Townsing, who was a driving force in the creation of the Mount Lawley Society in 1977.
The Mount Lawley Society was founded with the aim of fostering community spirit, focussing on retention of older buildings and townscapes, protecting open space and promoting the history of Mount Lawley, Inglewood and Menora.
Known for her devotion to community causes, Peta was a passionate advocate who passed away aged 77 and the City is thankful for her active contribution to the community. Vale Peta Townsing.
