Coastal community garden approved by Council

Thank you for taking the time to contribute to the recent discussion about the Coastal Community Garden proposed to be located at at Charles Riley Memorial Reserve.

Community interest on this issue was high with nearly 147 people providing their comments throughout the process.
 
Council made a decision on Tuesday 30 March 2021 to endorse the garden's location.

In making that decision, Council considered a number of issues which included:

• the consultation process 
• outcomes of the consultation
• concerns raised and positive comments received.
