As part of the City’s development of The Princess Wallington Community Parkland, approximately 50 grass trees will be relocated to allow for the construction of a new playground.
The trees will be relocated within the Balga area following a one year nursery period.
The tree relocation and other associated works will begin at the start of October 2019 and are expected to be completed by the end of that month.
While this takes place, sections of the Princess Wallington Reserve will be closed - however it will have minimal impact on the public.
Works will not be undertaken on Fridays in consideration of the Balga Friday Markets.
