07 November 2019

Design enthusiasts will get behind-the-scenes access to some of the City’s unique and architecturally designed homes and buildings as part of the two day festival, Open House Perth.

The international Open House concept invites visitors to explore and debate the value of a well-designed built environment. It is an annual event that spans the globe including the likes of London, New York, Rome, Buenos Aires, and Mexico City.

This is the first year the City of Stirling has sponsored the event that is part open day, part home open and very much about appreciating world class innovative and inspiring architecture.

In this year’s Open House Perth you will be able take a peek inside eight properties in Stirling including Wision House and a home on Ravenscar Street in Doubleview, The Shoreline and a home on Nola Avenue in Scarborough, and local businesses TDL Design Studio in Osborne Park and Clear Mind Studio in Inglewood.

You can also check out the City’s Mount Flora Regional Museum in Waterman’s Bay, a museum inside an old water tank, and explore the Recycling Centre in Balcatta.

All visits are free of charge and self-guided. Open House Perth is on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 November 2019. Visit openhouseperth.com for more information, addresses and opening times.
