Engage and make your voice heard

As the election draws closer and ballots hit mailboxes, this is a unique opportunity for you to engage with the City and the work we do with our local community.

Candidates and Councillors are pounding the pavement, talking to locals, and starting discussions with their new ideas and fresh perspectives. But it is all for nothing if your voice isn't part of the debate.

To better engage with our community, our online engagement hub 'Your Say Stirling' has been re-imagined as Shaping our City, a one-stop shop for the City's engagement.

To better communicate with our community, we launched a survey to re-shape our e-newsletters and received over 1,000 responses – thank you to everyone who had their say.

And to better serve our community, we are continuing to support and improve the more than 200 services and programs the City funds, such as the Kaleidoscope Mentoring Program, which will open up applications for mentees on 12 October.

Continuous improvement to us means a responsive City that isn't stuck in the past or chained to the status quo, but rather a customer service-orientated organisation that is dedicated to doing better tomorrow than we did today. We can only succeed in that endeavour if you are a part of the journey.

So I encourage you to get involved, come along to events, vote in the upcoming election, be a part of shaping our City, and make sure your voice is heard.
