City hits the ground with new consultations

The City is currently running several community consultations, and we want to make sure our community has the opportunity to be involved in the decision-making process.

This month, have your say on the City’s approach to homelessness and how we can become a more age friendly City, or planning issues such as the voluntary protected tree register, a draft affordable housing policy, changes to the City's parking and access policy and changes to the advertising signage policy.

I encourage every resident to visit the Shaping our City engagement hub to share your views on these issues, and to see where else you can engage with us to make our community the City of Choice.

Works are also progressing rapidly on the outdoor redevelopment of the Stirling Leisure Centres - Terry Tyzack Aquatic Centre - Inglewood with the pools emptied and ready for demolition next week.

I want to thank our road engineering team featured in the photo above, who recently showed compassion and the highest level of customer service to a grieving mother, Patricia.

Planned road works were potentially threatening to impact a local funeral, the team cancelled the works and rearranged for the next day.
