Merry Christmas and happy new year

As 2022 comes to a close, I want to begin by thanking you for your continued interest in the activities of the City of Stirling, and wish you a Merry Christmas and happy new year.

The City has finished 2022 with strong progress on some of our most strategic projects. I am pleased to say we delivered the Robinson Reserve clubrooms in time for the Osborne Park Show 2022, and have announced the artists who will deliver the public art on the grandstand of the Terry Tyzack Aquatic Centre.

The City is continuing through the festive season with important community consultation processes, including our ongoing survey on the future of eScooters and the trial closure of the Scarborough Esplanade. Click the link below this message to continue to help us shape our City.

I joined the Perth Glory just before their first game and Surf Life Saving Australia for a series of press conferences highlighting the amazing summer of sport that has kicked off in the City of Stirling. I welcome you to come and experience the world game at our very own local Macedonia Park, wear some purple and support the men's and women's Glory teams.

We have conducted the Balga by-election and it is my pleasure to congratulate Michael Dudek on being elected to Council. He will be sworn-in on 6 December 2022 at the last Council meeting of the year.
