Since moving to WA in 1994, Karen has lived in Nollamara, Doubleview and now Scarborough. Karen has been a City of Stirling councillor since 2013 and is thrilled to have been a part of the recent Scarborough foreshore revitalisation. She has been an active member of the local Scarborough Beach Association and is very proud of the world-class facilities that have been delivered.

Karen has degrees in both engineering and business, and has worked for a range of international companies including Rio Tinto and BHP Billiton. Karen currently runs her own management consulting company. Her aim is to use her professional expertise to improve Council’s decision-making process.

As a former chairman of the Scarborough Tennis Club and board member of the Scarborough Sportsmen's Club, Karen is a strong advocate for our local clubs and community organisations.
