The City has already implemented a range of measures to help minimise the risk of infection and community transmission. A number of facilities and services have been closed in line with Federal Government advice.

Cash payments

Cash payments no longer accepted

The City is currently only accepting card payments (preferably contactless) and cheques. Alternative payment options are reflected on payment invoices, or please phone our Contact Centre for further information. We appreciate your understanding during this time as we continue to implement measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Stirling Farmers Market

  • The Department of Health have specified food markets are exempt from the 500 person limit, however must undertake additional measures, such as control of patronage level numbers or stall density reduction to decrease the risk of COVID-19 transmission

  • Modified event operations and health precautions in place including social distancing and infection control measures
  • Event attendance numbers being monitored
