In line with State Government advice, City facilities and services are operational whilst adhering to all COVID-19 restrictions such as capacity limits and contact tracing registers.
For information on Western Australia’s response to COVID-19, please view the WA Health website here.
Mandatory contact tracing requirements
In line with the State Government’s requirements all visitors to City’s facilities must sign in using the SafeWA App or manual contact register.
To make registering an easier process, we encourage all visitors to sign in using the SafeWA app. The contact registers will be used to trace people in the event of a COVID -19 outbreak, with all details remaining confidential and only stored for 28 days.
The SafeWA app can be downloaded from Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
If you don’t wish to use the QR codes, paper-based registration forms will be available for patrons to register your details upon entry at City venues and facilities.
Contact tracing is mandatory at all venues including:
- Gyms, indoor sporting centres and pools
- Community facilities and halls
- All libraries
- Function centres
- Mount Flora Museum
- Administration Centre
- Council and committee meetings.
In the event of COVID-19 being detected in WA, contact registers will be provided to the WA Department of Health contact tracing team, to help quickly identify and assist anyone that may have been exposed to COVID-19.
