The City of Stirling provides a range of quality outside school hours care services for children.

Our services provide a variety of fun and engaging activities in a safe and caring environment.

Inglewood before and after school care: kindergarten to year 6

7.00am – 9.00am during school term

After school care: kindergarten to year 6

Operating hours

3.00pm – 6.00pm during school term

Transport

Transport to the following schools is provided:

  • Inglewood Primary School
  • Mt Lawley Primary School
  • St Peter's Primary School.

Early school closings are catered for. When numbers permit, the centre is open on student free days. Activities include social interaction, crafts, sports, games and cooking as well as excursions.

Inglewood vacation care: kindergarten to year 6

Operating hours

7.00am – 6.00pm during school holidays (excluding public holidays)

Come along and enjoy time with friends. Be creative with arts and crafts, sports, science, dress ups, drama, excursions to a range of exciting places and community events.

On the Bus program: 11 - 15½ year-olds

Our On the Bus program provides an award-winning mobile service that operates in the City of Stirling. The program offers exciting activities and excursions for older children.

Available locations

Collection points for this program are Hamersely, Inglewood and Mirrabooka.

Operating hours:

8.30am – 5.30pm for two weeks during school holidays (excluding Public Holidays).

Fees

Please note fees are dependent on the amount of child care subsidy (CCS) you are eligible to receive. To determine your eligibility, please phone the Family Assistance Office (Centrelink) on 13 61 50.

Did you know?

If you’re a grandparent looking after a grandchild, you may be eligible for the additional child care subsidy (ACCS). For more information, please phone the Family Assistance Office on 13 61 50.

Registering for outside school hours care

To register your child to attend before and after school care, vacation care or on the bus, please print off and fill in the appropriate enrolment form and return it via email to children@stirling.wa.gov.au or phone: (08) 9205 8569.

Medical action plans

If your child has requires a medical action plan, please fill out the relevant form and submit it along with your child’s enrolment application form.
